Goalkeeping Casual Coach Developer

About the role

The Football Association is looking for a Goalkeeping Casual Coach Developer to strengthen and expand the coaching network across England. In this role you will deliver high‑quality England Football Learning courses, run practical goalkeeping sessions and foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration and continuous development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom‑based learning, linking online modules with face‑to‑face sessions using a range of teaching approaches.
• Apply FA Learning principles to design activities that help coaches transfer knowledge into their own contexts.
• Lead practical goalkeeping sessions on the pitch, demonstrating technical and tactical concepts aligned with coaches’ work.
• Build strong rapport with learners, encouraging discussion and ongoing learning beyond the formal qualification.
• Maintain mandatory training requirements, health and safety standards and adhere to the FA Coach Developer Code of Conduct.
• Support additional tasks as required to meet the FA’s evolving priorities.

Required profile

• FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football.
• FA Level 3 in Coaching Goalkeepers (UEFA Goalkeeping B Diploma).
• Extensive experience in goalkeeper coaching and coach development.
• Proven experience delivering adult education, both face‑to‑face and online.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and inclusive delivery.
• FA Level 2 in Emergency First Aid in Football, FA Safeguarding Children and FA DBS (or ability to obtain).
