About the role
We are looking for a motivated Goods In/Warehouse Assistant to join our client’s team in Winnall, Winchester. This is a temporary-to-permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am‑4:45 pm, at a rate of £13.90 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to stock enquiries from the sales and customer service teams.
- Coordinate with the Production Planning team to ensure product availability.
- Liaise with the Purchasing department to resolve stock discrepancies.
- Carry out internal audits of stock movements.
- Assist with regular stock compacting and handling customer returns.
- Support picking processes and perform occasional heavy‑lifting tasks.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a warehouse, goods‑in, supply‑chain or purchasing environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to health and safety.
- Forklift licence is desirable.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (licence preferred).
