Governance, Training & Compliance Officer

About the role

This home‑based position supports the Security Governance Manager in managing independent audits, developing training, and conducting site security risk assessments. It offers a critical coordination function within the security governance team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure audits are completed on schedule, produce quality‑assured reports, and conduct thematic audits as directed.
• Analyse audit results, identify themes, and present findings to support continuous improvement.
• Monitor and escalate outstanding audit actions and deputise for the Security Governance Manager when absent.
• Support the development, review, and delivery of technical training materials in collaboration with the Operational Standards and Improvement Manager.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and support the H&S team.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo vetting and DBS checks.
• Strong analytical ability, effective written and verbal communication, and capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach with a commitment to personal and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
