Grade A Serious Injury Solicitor

About the role

Bond Turner is seeking a Grade A Serious Injury Solicitor to join its highly regarded Serious Injury team in Liverpool. You will work on high‑value, complex claims involving brain, spinal, amputation and orthopaedic injuries, delivering exceptional client care and achieving the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of serious injury claims from inception to resolution.
• Attend client meetings, conferences with counsel, expert appointments and court hearings, providing clear legal guidance.
• Review, analyse and challenge medical evidence, expert reports and rehabilitation documentation.
• Draft witness statements, instructions to counsel, schedules of loss, pleadings and other litigation documents.
• Lead litigation tasks in line with CPR and pre‑action protocols, ensuring efficient case progression.
• Negotiate interim payments, settlement proposals and costs on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with medical, forensic and technical experts to build robust liability and quantum arguments.
• Support junior team members and contribute to the development of the Serious Injury team.

Required profile

• Experience assisting on serious injury or large loss cases.
• Confidence in managing own files with appropriate supervision.
• Strong litigation experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Proclaim case management software.
