Graduate Accountant – Customer Support (Hybrid)

About the role

This is a hybrid graduate position based in Reading, supporting customers of a fast‑growing FinTech SaaS provider. You will use your accounting knowledge to deliver first‑class telephone and email assistance, helping clients get the most out of the software.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer support calls and emails, providing exceptional service.
• Research and answer accounting, tax and product‑related queries.
• Assist existing and prospective customers with general sales enquiries.
• Suggest improvements to support materials such as FAQs and user guides.
• Collaborate with the team to deepen product and accounting knowledge.

Required profile

• A degree that included an accountancy or finance module (or an AAT qualification).
• At least 6 months experience in a customer‑service role (phone and email).
• Strong desire to develop a career in software and finance.
• Understanding of typical accounting processes, reports and statements.
• Confident, calm and concise telephone manner with clear written communication.
• Analytical, organised and able to work well under pressure.
