Graduate Accountant

About the role

Kick‑start your finance career as a Graduate Accountant in a forward‑thinking business investing heavily in people, technology and systems. You will work alongside experienced finance leaders, gaining exposure to a wide range of financial responsibilities while studying towards a professional qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day accounting tasks and month‑end close processes.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Support senior finance staff on commercial and strategic projects.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather data and provide financial insights.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.

Required profile

• 2:1 or First Class degree (or equivalent) – attitude and aptitude are valued over university name.
• Ambitious finance graduate, preferably with some practical experience and early ACCA or CIMA studies.
• Bright, curious, commercially minded with strong analytical ability.
• Positive, driven, collaborative and looking for a long‑term career.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
• Analytical and numerical proficiency.
