About the role
This graduate position offers an autonomous role within a small, family‑run architectural practice based in Weston‑super‑Mare. You will gain hands‑on experience across residential and commercial projects, supporting the planning and design process from policy review to application submission.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop technical drawing concepts using AutoCAD.
- Shadow the planning and building survey process to understand project lifecycles.
- Review planning policy, prepare planning applications and liaise with local planners.
- Assist with the end‑to‑end design and completion of new builds, conversions and commercial developments.
Required profile
- Strong interest in planning policy and applications.
- Background or coursework using AutoCAD.
- Recent graduate or soon‑to‑graduate seeking a junior role.
- Able to commute to Weston‑super‑Mare.
