Graduate Commercial Trainee

About the role

Kick‑start your career with Bridgewater Resources’ graduate development programme, the UK’s largest B2B supplier of electrical equipment. You will rotate through key business functions, build customer relationships and progress towards a field sales and management position.

Key responsibilities

• Learn core business operations across sales, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT and marketing during the first six months.
• Develop product knowledge and engage directly with electricians, contractors and tradespeople at the trade counter.
• Complete formal sales training, attend head‑office sessions and earn workbook‑based bonuses.
• Move into internal sales/account management, handling B2B customers such as construction firms, local authorities and developers.
• Progress to a field sales management role, travelling locally in a company car to meet clients and manage projects.
• Gain experience in staff management, purchasing and profit‑and‑loss responsibilities with the aim of running your own business unit.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to start a full‑time role immediately.
• Recent graduate with a commercial or business focus.
