Graduate Community Engagement Officer

About the role

Kick‑start your career as a Graduate Community Engagement Officer at a specialist college within one of London’s leading academy trusts. You will be given real responsibility from day one, helping to shape student life, build community partnerships and create opportunities for young adults with SEND.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships with businesses and organisations across Kingston upon Thames.
• Plan, organise and deliver student events, enrichment activities and educational trips.
• Create and support opportunities for young adults with SEND, including leadership projects and Student Ambassador programmes.
• Champion student voice and contribute to the college’s alumni network.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to improve the overall student experience.
• Represent the college within the local community and act as a liaison between students and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with strong organisational abilities.
• Creative, solution‑focused and comfortable building professional relationships.
• Passionate about supporting young people, especially those with SEND.
• Motivated by a varied role with genuine responsibility.
• Graduates from subjects such as Education, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Events Management, Sports Management, Sociology, Criminology, Communications or Public Relations.
