Graduate Electrical Engineer – Water & Infrastructure

About the role

This graduate position offers the chance to develop practical electrical engineering skills on live water infrastructure projects within the Thames Water framework. You will receive structured training, mentorship from experienced engineers, and exposure to design, installation, testing and commissioning from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical projects across multiple water sites.
• Assist with electrical design, equipment inspections, installation and commissioning activities.
• Produce technical reports and project documentation.
• Attend site visits two to three days per week to gain hands‑on experience.

Required profile

• Graduate (degree or HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Interest in practical, site‑based water or infrastructure projects.
• Able to commute to Chelmsford.
