Graduate Engineer Trainee – Documentum

About the role

Coforge is looking for enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainees to start a career in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) using OpenText Documentum. The role offers structured training, mentorship and the chance to work on large‑scale projects for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in training programmes focused on OpenText Documentum and related technologies.
• Assist with Documentum administration, configuration and development tasks.
• Support the maintenance of enterprise content management solutions.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather and understand requirements.
• Help with application testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
• Ensure adherence to project standards, quality processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Recent graduate (2025 or 2026 pass‑out) with a strong academic record.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and databases.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Java.
• SQL proficiency.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Understanding of web technologies.
• Agile methodologies.
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to OpenText Documentum or other content management systems.
