Graduate Geologist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Geologist to join our engineering consultancy team in Edinburgh. You will support a range of ground investigation projects, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality geotechnical solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.
• Prepare factual and interpretive reports for geotechnical design and ground investigation.
• Review and check Geotechnical Design Reports and Ground Investigation reports for accuracy.
• Contribute to borehole logging, groundwater monitoring and gas monitoring activities.
• Mentor and support junior team members as required.

Required profile

• Graduate Geologist with experience in factual and interpretive report writing.
• Degree in Geology, Geoscience or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Based in or near Edinburgh.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
• Full right to work in the United Kingdom.
