Graduate HR & People Analyst

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation in Nottingham for a motivated and people‑focused Graduate HR & People Analyst. This genuine graduate role offers real responsibility from day one, working across the full employee lifecycle within a busy HR function.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR team across recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Maintain and update HR systems and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with employee relations matters, supporting managers and employees through HR processes.
• Contribute to learning and development initiatives, coordinating training programmes and tracking completion.
• Analyse people data and produce reports on headcount, turnover, absence and engagement.
• Support policy development, compliance and HR projects.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating where appropriate.

Required profile

• A degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Empathetic, organised and discreet with strong interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in people and organisational culture.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with HR systems or data analysis tools is an advantage.
