Graduate Learning Support Assistant

About the role
This full‑time graduate position supports a thriving, inclusive school in Maidenhead. It is designed for recent graduates who want hands‑on experience working with pupils who need additional classroom support and who are considering careers in education, psychology, social work or youth mentoring.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in promoting positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
- Help pupils understand and follow classroom instructions.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support within the classroom or Learning Support department.
- Monitor, record and report on pupils’ progress and development.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a passion for education and youth development.
- Confident, compassionate and proactive in engaging with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN team.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills for future teacher training or related careers.

- Full‑time contract (8:30 am – 4:00 pm) with a daily rate of £92.59‑£95.
