About the role
This permanent graduate position starts in September at an outstanding independent grammar school in Stockport. You will work in a supportive school environment, helping small groups and individual pupils with their academic work while gaining valuable experience in secondary education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group learning support to pupils.
- Assist pupils with academic tasks across core subjects.
- Work term‑time only (approximately 35 weeks per year).
- Complete DBS checks and safeguarding training as required.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment within the school.
Required profile
- Degree 2:2 or above, preferably in a core subject such as English.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is advantageous.
- Confident, enthusiastic and passionate about education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
