Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Primary School (Term‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate to join a well‑regarded primary school in Cheshunt for the 2026/27 academic year. This term‑time, full‑time position provides hands‑on experience in a classroom environment and is ideal for anyone planning to pursue teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils during lessons to maximise engagement and progress
• Provide focused assistance to individuals and small groups
• Assist with the delivery of intervention programmes
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation
• Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Required profile

• Graduate with a strong interest in education and child development
• Considering a future career in teaching
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
