Graduate Lighting Project Designer

About the role

As a Graduate Lighting Project Designer at Schréder, you will support the delivery of Signature Projects, contributing to both creative and technical development of tailored lighting solutions. Working closely with Project Managers and the commercial sales team, you will help meet customer needs and drive growth in the smart lighting segment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers from project conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Review customer specifications and develop customized lighting solutions.
• Prepare project proposals, scope documents and quotations, and carry out accurate pricing.
• Generate drawings and visualisations to support specifications and final solutions.
• Present proposals to customers and internal teams, both online and in person.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders to ensure collaborative outcomes.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree related to lighting design, architecture, engineering or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to take ownership of selected projects and see them through to completion.
