Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our UK sites in Bristol, Barnoldswick, Derby or Birmingham. You will work within the Build‑in‑Quality (BIQ) framework, helping to prevent defects by establishing robust process controls and supporting product launch activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Dimensional Characteristics Matrix and Control Plans.
• Apply BIQ tools to develop error‑proofing solutions, technical instructions and variable controls.
• Drive process improvements that increase stability and capability across plant or supplier lines.
• Utilise manufacturing data systems such as RFT and BCT Inspector to monitor quality.
• Integrate BIQ methods with Design for Manufacture and DFMEA activities.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and collaborative working abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of quality and inspection principles.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
