Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

A worldwide, market-leading multinational engineering company, working with clients in the automotive, aerospace, renewable, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas and food processing industries, is hiring a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. The company works alongside a global leader in automation technology that creates solutions powering electric vehicles to semiconductor manufacturing. As a graduate, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop custom automation solutions, gaining hands-on experience in product design, testing and technical support.

Required profile

• Ideally a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (MEng or BEng)
• Recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering are welcome; applicants need not tick every box
• Good communication skills and a team player who can also work independently
• Understanding of basic electrical principles

Required skills

• Experience with 3D modelling software (preferably SolidWorks)
• Knowledge of electro-pneumatic control systems
• Nice to have: experience with jigs, fixtures or machine design, and placement/internship experience
