Graduate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

This is a hands‑on graduate position offering real learning opportunities from day one. You will gain exposure to design, quotations, projects and product development while working closely with experienced engineers in a growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Support product design and development activities.
• Assist with quotations and project estimating.
• Work with customers and internal teams to understand technical requirements.
• Support engineering projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Collaborate across multiple projects and potentially support other businesses within the wider group.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, curious and eager to build a successful engineering career.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a practical approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
