Graduate Podiatrist

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or newly qualified podiatrist to join a busy, well‑established clinic in Hayes. You will work alongside an experienced Musculoskeletal Lead Podiatrist, building a broad caseload while receiving hands‑on training in advanced treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, taking accurate medical and social histories.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and lower‑limb conditions, including verrucas, warts, corns, calluses, fungal nails and ingrown toenails.
• Perform nail surgery under local anaesthetic where competent.
• Manage heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, flat feet and other biomechanical complaints.
• Support diabetic and high‑risk foot care, including wound assessment and management.
• Carry out gait analysis and contribute to the design of custom foot orthotics.
• Deliver advanced treatments such as MLS laser therapy and shockwave therapy (training provided).
• Provide paediatric foot care and medical pedicures with warm wax therapy when required.
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical records in line with HCPC standards.

Required profile

• Graduate or newly qualified podiatrist (candidates with a few years’ experience are also welcome).
• Registration with the HCPC.
• Willingness to undergo DBS/CRB disclosure checks.
