Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

About the role

This full‑time, temporary position is designed for recent graduates who want to gain hands‑on experience in a primary school setting. You will work alongside teachers to support children with ADD, ADHD and other special educational needs, helping them achieve their potential throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour.
• Help create an inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• 2:1 degree or higher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working with children with ADD, ADHD or SEN.
• Strong academic background and a passion for education.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
