Graduate Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This graduate position offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals on a diverse portfolio of construction and capital investment projects. You will support the delivery of cost management and quantity surveying services from concept through to handover, gaining exposure to the full project life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of cost management and quantity surveying commissions.
• Assist with estimating, cost planning, procurement and tender processes.
• Produce cost reports and project documentation.
• Support contract administration activities under industry‑standard forms of contract.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to project reviews, analysis and reporting exercises.
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.
• Attend industry networking and professional development events.
• Work collaboratively within a client‑focused team environment.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc or MSc) in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or a related discipline.
• Desire to work towards chartership with RICS, CIOB or an equivalent professional body.
• Strong understanding of quantity surveying and cost management principles.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, cost reporting and contract administration.
• Basic understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
