About the role
ENGIE is seeking a motivated graduate to join its Renewable Engineering team in London. You will work on real on‑shore wind, solar and battery energy storage projects across the UK and Ireland, gaining hands‑on experience from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Support development and execution of on‑shore wind, solar and BESS projects.
- Produce project layout designs and energy assessments for renewable schemes.
- Review technical specifications and contribute to electrical design production.
- Assist in securing grid connections and coordinate engineering deliverables.
- Support projects through development, pre‑construction, construction and operations phases.
- Contribute to data analytics, reporting and technical documentation.
- Progress towards a project engineer role with increasing responsibility.
Required profile
- 2:1 degree or above in electrical engineering, electronics or control systems.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and confidence to engage clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable interest in renewable energy and engineering.
- Enthusiasm, ambition and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence for occasional site travel.

- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Load flow analysis.
- SCADA systems.
- Python.
- Power BI.
- PVSyst or WindPro renewable resource software.
- GIS or CAD tools.
