Graduate RF Test System Engineer – 2027 Programme

About the role

Join Airbus Defence and Space as a Graduate RF Test System Engineer in Portsmouth. This two‑year development programme will immerse you in the design, integration and validation of RF test system solutions while providing structured training and rotational experience.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, integration and validation of RF test system solutions to meet project campaign requirements.
• Support the full lifecycle of test solution development, including formal project reviews, documentation and reporting on test hardware status.
• Operate specialised test equipment such as Keysight measurement systems for network and spectrum analysis, frequency generation and modulation.
• Gain hands‑on experience with RF hardware products, including amplifiers and converters, and analyse test results for non‑conformance.
• Complete at least one rotational placement in a related department (e.g., Test Operations or Systems Integration) to broaden practical experience.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics (electromagnetics or electronics) or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Motivation to work collaboratively and drive future innovation.
