About the role
Veritas Education is seeking recent graduates to support special educational needs (SEN) across schools in Leeds and West Yorkshire. The role can be taken on a part‑time, supply or full‑time permanent basis, offering flexibility for those still studying or looking to start a career in education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to monitor and report pupil progress.
- Adapt resources to meet individual learning requirements.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or current student in education, child development, or a related field.
- Enthusiasm for working with children of varying abilities.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of SEN principles and practices.
