Graduate Software Engineer – 12‑Month Rotational Programme

About the role

Autodesk is looking for motivated recent graduates to join its Fusion 360 engineering team in Birmingham on a 12‑month rotational graduate programme. You will work across several Agile Scrum teams, gaining hands‑on experience developing cloud‑enabled design software used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle on multiple projects.
• Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code in C++, Python, TypeScript/React.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with engineers, testers and product owners to deliver features for desktop and web applications.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Required profile

• Degree (2:1 or First‑Class) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 120 UCAS points.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
