Graduate Solution Architect – Information Management & Technology

About the role

BAE Systems is looking for a Graduate Solution Architect to join the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) Product Fulfilment team in Barrow. You will work on the Submarines programme, supporting the design, testing and commissioning of the Astute and Dreadnought classes while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support demand‑management meetings and route requests to delivery teams in line with the strategic roadmap.
• Conduct business analysis, elicit requirements and define solution options for customers.
• Produce weekly performance metrics and architecture packs for IM&T management.
• Contribute to high‑level designs, obtain quotations from IT service providers and help mobilise IT projects.
• Align planning processes and IT solutions with the company’s goals and organisational strategy.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
