Graduate Sports Support for SEN in Mainstream Schools

About the role
We are looking for recent Sports Science, Coaching or PE graduates to use sport as a tool for inclusion. You will support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in mainstream primary and secondary schools across Dorset.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural challenges.
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group sessions using sport, movement and structured activities.
- Promote teamwork, routine and positive social interaction.
- Assist with classroom learning, transitions and act as a positive role model.
Required profile
- Degree in Sports Science, Coaching, PE or a related discipline.
- Passion for working with young people, especially those with additional needs.
- Strong communication, leadership and resilience.
Required skills
What we offer
- Full‑time, part‑time or term‑time contracts (day rate £100‑£150).
- Pathway into PE teaching, youth work, mentoring or SEN specialist roles.
- Ongoing training and development in education and SEN settings.
