Graduate Structural Engineer – Bristol

About the role

Join a growing independent engineering consultancy in Bristol as a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will work within a collaborative, technically strong team delivering a variety of structural projects across multiple sectors, gaining hands‑on experience from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and analysis for steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures.
• Produce structural calculations, technical reports, specifications and design information.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project delivery in line with UK building regulations, Eurocodes and industry standards.
• Attend site visits, inspections and project meetings as required.
• Develop technical knowledge, commercial awareness and project management skills.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with ICE and/or IStructE.

Required profile

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 1–2 years of structural engineering experience, preferably within a UK consultancy.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning, collaboration and professional development.
