Graduate Teaching Assistant

About the role
We are looking for a recent graduate to join an Outstanding‑rated school in Oldham as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role starts in September 2026 and provides valuable classroom experience for those interested in a teaching or educational psychology career.
Key responsibilities
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SEND team to plan and deliver tailored interventions.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to help pupils achieve their potential.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in Psychology, Maths, Science, English, Sociology, Education or a related field (not essential).
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
