Graduate Teaching Assistant – Psychology Graduate (Croydon)

About the role

We are looking for recent Psychology graduates to join secondary schools across Croydon as Graduate Teaching Assistants. This full‑time, school‑based role starts in September 2026 and offers hands‑on experience supporting young learners in a real classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support students across Key Stages 3‑5 with 1:1 and small‑group interventions.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management and behaviour support.
• Provide additional help for pupils with SEND where required.
• Help remove barriers to learning and promote academic progress.

Required profile

• A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in education, child development and behaviour.
• Ability to build positive, consistent relationships with young people.
• Proactive, reliable and professional attitude.
