About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic graduates to support secondary schools in North London as Graduate Teaching Assistants. This full‑time, contractor‑based role offers hands‑on classroom experience for those aiming to progress into teacher training or related educational careers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one‑to‑one academic or pastoral support to pupils.
• Deliver small‑group intervention sessions to boost progress.
• Support pupils with SEN, behavioural, emotional or academic needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular clubs and enrichment programmes.

Required profile

• Hold a degree in any subject.
• Genuine interest in education and working with young people.
• Consider a future career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Right to work in the UK.
