Graduate Teaching Assistant – Warrington

About the role
We are seeking recent graduates to join secondary schools in Warrington as Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors and Learning Support staff. These temporary roles start in September and provide hands‑on classroom experience before you begin formal teacher training.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group learning assistance to pupils.
- Supervise classes as a Cover Supervisor when teachers are absent.
- Assist with behaviour management and pastoral care.
- Cover daily supply needs and longer‑term placements as required.
Required profile
- Recent graduate (summer 2026) with a degree in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Criminology, Sport, Geography, History or a related field.
- Motivation to gain practical teaching experience.
- Willingness to work in a school environment from September.
Required skills

- Daily rate starting at £100 (up to £110) per day.
