Graduate Teaching Assistant – West London (Full‑time)

About the role

Veritas Education is partnering with schools in West London to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants for the September 2026 start. This full‑time, term‑time position offers recent graduates the chance to gain hands‑on classroom experience while supporting pupils’ academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic and pastoral support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs.
• Assist with teaching core subjects such as Maths and English.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage active participation and support students in reaching their academic goals.
• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management and pupil development.

Required profile

• A degree in any subject area.
• Genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.
• Experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, youth work, mentoring).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Proactive, reliable team player capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
