Graduate Town Planner – Swindon

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate with a passion for planning, placemaking and sustainable development to join a respected planning consultancy in Swindon. This full‑time permanent position offers structured training, mentorship and clear progression for an ambitious individual.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications.
• Conduct planning research and policy reviews.
• Support the preparation of planning statements and reports.
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
• Attend site visits and client meetings.
• Monitor planning applications and policy developments.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• Genuine interest in the UK planning system and development sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
