Graduate / Trainee Inventory Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate / Trainee Inventory Planner to join an established international healthcare products business in Crawley. This permanent, full‑time position offers a structured training programme and the chance to develop a long‑term career in inventory planning and supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels against sales forecasts and maintain agreed minimum inventories.
• Track components held by manufacturers and external production partners.
• Assist with purchase orders, works orders and reconciliation of stock at external sites.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, co‑packers and internal sales/marketing teams to reflect promotions and demand changes.
• Maintain accurate product, packaging and inventory data within company systems.
• Check stock receipts, product costs and ensure order and artwork information is correct before dispatch.
• Develop an understanding of forecasting, bills of materials and overall supply‑chain planning.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or junior professional in an analytical, administrative, purchasing, logistics or operations role.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external partners.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to take responsibility and quick learner.
• Genuine interest in inventory planning, supply chain or commercial operations.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet handling.
