Graduate Trainee Sales Manager

About the role

Join Bridgewater Resources’ graduate development programme as a Graduate Trainee Sales Manager. You will rotate through key business areas, learn the electrical wholesale market and progress towards a field sales and management position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop core knowledge of sales, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT software and marketing during the first six months.
• Build product expertise and understand the electrical equipment range.
• Engage with trade‑counter customers such as electricians, contractors and tradespeople, supporting them with product advice and deal closure.
• Transition to internal sales and account management, contacting B2B clients like construction firms, local authorities and developers.
• Contribute to business development strategies, target new key accounts and achieve sales targets.
• After 12 months, move into a B2B field sales management role, travelling locally in a company car, managing client relationships and supporting profit‑and‑loss responsibilities.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to start a full‑time role immediately.
