Graduate/Junior Contracts & Projects Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate/Junior Contracts & Projects Manager to support the delivery of refurbishment projects in occupied care homes across the UK. Working from our Liverpool office, you will assist the Directors and Commercial Team from pre‑construction through to handover, ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple refurbishment and renovation projects ranging from £250k to £3m.
• Support programme planning, procurement and allocation of project resources.
• Administer JCT contracts and monitor contractual compliance.
• Help maintain health, safety and quality standards on site.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify repeat‑business opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of systems and processes as the business grows.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience in refurbishment or construction projects, preferably in care homes or similar operational environments.
• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of JCT contracts.
• CSCS card.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction certification (desirable).
• SMSTS certificate, CITB Health & Safety test, First Aid at Work, Asbestos and Fire Safety awareness.
