Grill Chef – The Plough Beefeater (Dover)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Grill Chef to join the kitchen team at The Plough Beefeater in Dover. You will work 25 hours per week across evenings and weekends, preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes for our pub‑restaurant guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, grill and plate menu items to Whitbread’s quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Manage stock levels for grill supplies and report any shortages.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a catering or restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Willingness to learn and follow Whitbread’s training programmes.
