Grounds Operative – Temp to Perm

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Grounds Operative to join a local grounds team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of a permanent position. The role is based in Highworth and offers immediate start for candidates with relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Hand mowing of lawns and open areas
• Operating strimmers for edge and hard‑to‑reach grass
• Cutting and maintaining hedges using hedge cutters
• General grounds upkeep including litter bin emptying
• Performing additional duties as required to keep the site tidy

Required profile

• Previous experience in grounds or landscaping maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to safely operate grounds‑maintenance equipment
• Availability to start immediately and work the specified hours
