Groundsman / Manual Labourer (Driver)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundsman / Manual Labourer who can also act as a driver to maintain outdoor areas at our client’s site in Chertsey, Surrey. The role involves a variety of landscaping and general manual tasks, ensuring the grounds are safe, clean and well‑kept.

Key responsibilities

• Cut grass, trim hedges and operate strimmers.
• Dig, prepare soil and assist with drainage, planting and landscaping works.
• Plant, water and maintain trees, shrubs and flower beds.
• Pick litter and keep outdoor areas tidy.
• Support fencing, paving and minor repair tasks.
• Load, unload and move materials and equipment.
• Operate and maintain grounds‑maintenance machinery and hand tools safely.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in grounds maintenance or manual labour is a plus, not required.

Required skills

• Use of hand tools.
• Operation of power equipment and grounds‑maintenance machinery.

What we offer

• £13.54 per hour, paid weekly.
