About the role
We are seeking an experienced Groundworker/Topman to join a construction gang on a short‑term project in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves working closely with welders and other trades to ensure the site progresses safely and on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Perform top‑man duties within a gang, supporting welders and other crew members.
- Follow site instructions and safety procedures throughout the project.
- Maintain a full working day from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, booking nine hours per day.
- Remain on site for the entire duration of the contract, which is expected to last a few weeks.
Required profile
- Hold a valid Confined Space card.
- Possess a CSCS card.
- Reliable, punctual and able to communicate effectively with the team.
- Capable of working the full nine‑hour shift each day.
