Group Accountant – Consolidation & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Group Accountant to join a market‑leading international business experiencing strong year‑on‑year growth. Based in Woking, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate group financial reporting, supporting strategic decision‑making and ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate group financial statements and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning at group level.
• Provide technical accounting support for complex projects and ensure accurate tax compliance.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements across the finance function.
• Collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders, delivering clear financial insights.
• Assist with statutory reporting and end‑to‑end audit processes, resolving technical issues.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong reporting focus.
• Proven experience in group reporting, consolidation and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and interpret large data sets.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Budgeting and forecasting at group level.
• Tax compliance (UK corporation tax).
• Audit coordination and statutory reporting.
