Group Accountant – FP&A & Financial Accounting

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed international business to hire a Group Accountant for its London head office. The position offers a balanced mix of financial reporting and commercial finance, ideal for a newly qualified ACA looking to transition from practice to industry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly group reporting and consolidated financial statements.
• Support the production of statutory accounts and manage the year‑end audit process.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Deliver financial analysis to inform strategic business decisions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes while ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Maintain strong financial controls and contribute to ad‑hoc projects.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the global business.

Required profile

• ACA qualified, preferably trained at a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent analytical abilities.
• Eagerness to gain exposure to both financial reporting and commercial finance.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships across a global organisation.
