Group Credit Controller

About the role

Join an international consumer products business as a Group Credit Controller, supporting cash flow and risk management across multiple markets. You will work with finance and operational teams, handling multi‑currency ledgers and large‑scale accounts receivable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively collect outstanding debt and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes, deductions and short payments.
• Allocate cash and apply payments across multiple customer accounts.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and keep ledgers accurate.
• Monitor accounts, flag high‑risk issues and support DSO, aged debt and cash collection reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales and Customer Service to drive timely payments.
• Contribute to process improvements and credit control efficiencies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Account reconciliations.
