Group Exercise Supervisor – Lead Fitness Classes

About the role

We are seeking a Group Exercise Supervisor to lead and inspire our team of instructors at David Lloyd Clubs in Edinburgh. The role involves delivering a diverse timetable of classes, from yoga and HIIT to our signature programmes, while ensuring a high‑quality experience for members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of group exercise instructors.
• Plan, deliver and oversee a variety of fitness classes, including signature formats such as BLAZE, SPIRIT, CYCLONE, RHYTHM, IGNITE and BATTLEBOX.
• Adapt workouts to suit all fitness levels and abilities.
• Maintain a safe and motivating studio environment.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to instructors.
• Promote member engagement and help participants achieve their health goals.
• Ensure compliance with CIMSPA standards and club policies.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 CIMSPA qualification.
• Passion for health, fitness and inclusive group exercise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑driven attitude with a positive outlook.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Required skills

• CIMSPA‑accredited qualification (Level 2 or Level 3).
