Group Financial Controller – International Consultancy

About the role

A leading international consultancy based in Central London is seeking a Group Financial Controller to own its financial reporting function and support the business’s continued growth. Reporting to the COO/CFO, you will lead a small finance team and act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial reporting, group consolidation and month‑end close.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management across multiple entities.
• Enhance financial controls, processes and reporting systems.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide analysis and insight for commercial decisions.
• Manage the year‑end audit, external audit relationships and board reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance operations and reporting capability.

Required profile

• Graduate qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with experience in industry or public practice.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in a multi‑entity or international environment.
• Proactive, commercially minded with excellent analytical capability.
• Confidence to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
