Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the consolidation and reporting of financial results for a multinational organisation. Working remotely with monthly travel to the London head office, you will ensure accurate statutory accounting across all legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee group consolidation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Coordinate monthly closing activities to achieve a three‑day close across all jurisdictions.
• Manage the annual statutory audit and liaise with local auditors, tax consultants and authorities.
• Lead a global finance team in seven jurisdictions, driving process simplification and system optimisation.
• Develop and implement global accounting policies to align all entities to a single standard.
• Handle IFRS16 lease accounting, transfer pricing calculations and FX revaluations.
• Oversee payroll posting and reconciliation for all entities.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with multi‑entity accounting.
• Proven ability to manage teams across diverse international locations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing practices and FX translation.
• Ready to start within one month and able to travel to London monthly.
