Group Financial Controller – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the consolidation and reporting function for a global consultancy. The role is fully remote with a requirement to travel to the London head office once a month.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee group consolidation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements across multiple legal entities worldwide.
• Manage the group audit process and coordinate all local statutory audits.
• Lead a global finance team responsible for statutory accounting, compliance, payroll posting and reconciliation.
• Work with external tax consultants, tax authorities and auditors on transfer pricing, IFRS16 leases and other regulatory matters.
• Develop and implement global accounting policies to unify standards across entities.
• Drive process simplification, system reliance and continuous improvement to shorten the monthly close cycle.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and IFRS16 lease accounting.
• Proven experience managing finance for multiple legal entities, including FX revaluations and translations.
• Experience with transfer pricing calculations.
• Ability to start within one month (no three‑month notice period).
